Kukicha refers to a Japanese green tea obtained from the stems used in Sencha production. This organically grown Kukicha consists of high-quality whole tea leaves and first-flush Sencha stems. This green tea has less caffeine while retaining the full flavor of Japanese green tea.

The Kinezuka family is one of the pioneers in the field of organic tea cultivation in Japan. Their tea plantation is located in Fujieda, in the lowlands of the Oi River Delta near the Pacific coast, at the foot of the mountainous region in the north. There, the family cultivates particularly high-quality tea leaves, which are then processed into green and black tea.

The aroma of the dry tea leaves is reminiscent of nori and sweet bean paste. The fresh infusion has an intense, sweet scent with umami notes. Overall, a very digestible green tea for beginners and tea lovers.
