Since 2014, we have dedicated ourselves entirely to roasting and distributing high-quality specialty coffee. Since then, we have been constantly searching for the finest coffees, which we largely trade directly with coffee producers (direct trade). By purchasing premium coffees directly, coffee producers can earn significantly higher incomes than with industrially produced mass-market coffee. The philosophy of ethical trade in exceptional coffees forms the basis of our business model and has guided Süssmund Kaffee from the very beginning.

At least twice a week, we roast our coffee fresh in Vienna and ship it CO2-neutrally via Austrian Post just a few days after production. This ensures our customers always receive top-quality, freshly roasted coffee. We strive to delight every coffee drinker with our selection. We achieve this by choosing the right green coffee beans and meticulously determining the ideal roast level based on the bean's characteristics. These different roast levels refine the coffee beans, highlighting the unique aromas and flavor nuances of each coffee.

When will my gift be delivered?

When purchasing a coffee gift subscription, you can choose when the recipient should be notified of the gift via a personal email from you. Please note that message delivery is subject to Eastern Standard Time (EST). Therefore, your message will not be delivered until shortly after midnight (EST).

How do I redeem my gift?

After receiving your congratulatory email, the recipient simply needs to click the link in the email. This link allows them to start their coffee subscription at any time and customize it to their liking. They can freely choose the coffee varieties, quantities, and delivery intervals.

Can recipients change their subscription?

The Süssmund coffee subscription promises maximum flexibility and individuality. The recipient can freely choose from many different coffee varieties, change them with each delivery, and adjust delivery dates to suit their own needs. Deliveries can also be paused – or skipped – with a single click.

What happens if the credit for the coffee subscription has been used up?

Once your entire balance is used up, you can still continue your coffee subscription. Simply add a new payment method at checkout. From then on, this new payment method will be used for all future payments, and your coffee subscription will continue.

If the recipient has already saved a payment method in their customer account due to previous orders with Süssmund Kaffee (e.g., existing coffee subscription customers), the coffee subscription can simply be continued with the saved payment method.

What happens to any remaining balance?

Any unused credit can be used for any products in our online shop in the customer account where the coffee subscription is managed. To redeem the remaining credit, the customer must add a payment method during checkout. Products can then be purchased in the customer account using the remaining credit and the new payment method.
